I want to guy an e-grip and everyone recommends the APE e-grip from tippmannpros for $139.99 but they do not have it in stock and i wanted to buy it like right now. So im thinking of buying the WAS e-grip and later uograding the board.
So the question remains. Is it hard to change the boards?

Swapping boards if you already have an E-grip on an A-5 is as simple as opening the grip halves. Once the grip is open, you take out everything attached to the board and replace it with the APE equipment. Everything has it's own little slot, so you're not going to have a problem figuring out where everything goes.
But to be honest, you're going to be better off just biting the bullet and getting the APE kit. I know they say that the new WAS boards are much better, but I've not used one, and I still see plenty of complaints about them (although to be fair, I've seen much less complaining as of late). If I knew now what I did when I first got my E-grip, I would have gone straight for that TippmannPros package without hesitation. The choice is yours though.

Yeah i guess your right, the only thing is that they are out of stock right now and they wont have anything for another 2 weeks and i really wanted to get the e-grip before saturday which is the day i go play. In the long run any way you put it i will end up paying more because the WAS e-grip is 99 plus the APE whenever i upgrade which i will is 79 so i'll be some where around the 200. I'll probably buy the WAS and use that one for a while until i upgrade to the APE. Thanks Corrupted!!

It means I had a WAS board first. Then I got sick of it breaking, and I upgraded to an APE board.
