That's better. Are looking into buying your own gear anytime soon? If so give us a budget to work w/ and we can help you out if you'd like.

I don't know many people that can fire a paintball gun and not want one. That's how I got into it - a buddy has a piranha and after taking it out and firing off a few rounds, I knew I had to have one. After actually playing once the deal was officially sealed.

Welcome!

Congrates, you've got the disease now, there's no going back anytime soon. It is amazing how quick people get addicted, I've taken at least 5 new players paintballing, and every single time, they've gotten addicted after the first few shots!

The next step is deciding whether you are a woodsballer or a speedballer, this is one of the most (if not the most) biggest deciding factors in paintball.

Enjoy the feeling while it lasts (In a few months or so, you will figure out just how addicting it really is). (On a scale from 1-10 for being addicted to paintball, I would say I'm somewhere around $300...and rising). (Ebay, ebay, and ebay). good luck!!!!

I don't think that is important at all. I really enjoy both. I play with a mini or an SP8. I use both for speed and woodsball. Play whatever you like and if you like both play them both. Avoid the labels it matters 0%

I really don't see how you can be addicted if you've gone once...

I Have no idea how to quote someone, so I'll just respond to Pepto's comment:

I guess if your using the right kind of gun you can do both woodsball and speedball, but i specialize in just one...mostly because my gun is not what anyone would call a speedballing marker: Tippmann 98. But on the other hand, not all speed balling guns are the best for woodsball... hence my comment... But if you can find a marker which is good at both...

I do see what you are saying 98 is definitely not a speedball type gun usually. I just really enjoy both and both the Mini and the SP8 are Electro's so I can play both although I have been shot out by a 98 on a speedball course (not my finest moment) but I am the definition of a recballer play all fields and really enjoy both about equally. But for BONG FOO if you are more inclined to play one over the other than marker selection is very important.

I've played speedball w/ my tippy more then once and did fine, i even have a stock and 16" barrel on it. You can use any speedball in the woods just fine and there's no real reason not to if you have one.

Hey cool...it works! Thanks!

...I too have played speedball with my 98C (only once though), it was pure addreniline the whole time...but it was funny to watch my friend speedball(his first day every using his own gun) who had a JT Tac-5 (not a speedball gun, lol) fully customized (yet still only 4 or 5 bps)...he got shot.
