price range? but if your looking for a nice starter Barrel for around 30 bucks look at the J&J Ceramic or the CP barrels. Try ActionVillage.com and search around for what fits your price range.

ive been looking around at the barrels the past hour or so and the have a bunch of different bore sizes. Is there a best size or are they just personal preference?

Bore size should match your paint. If you use big paint, get a big bore. Small paint get a small bore. If you don't consistently use one brand of paint, you are better going too big, because paint will always fit through a barrel that is oversized. Accuracy and efficiency will suffer, but you won't be breaking paint in your barrel.
You can also buy a kit, which has several bores in one package. I bought the J&J Edge Elite, it has five bores, which covers most paintballs out there. The kit was $100, which seems like a lot for a barrel, but it lets me use the cheapest paint I can find and know that I can match my barrel. With a properly matched back, I can shoot the cheap Wal-Mart crap with decent accuracy, or I can always use whatever the field is selling cheap.

I ordered mine from Paintball-Online.com, but they don't seem to have them in stock anymore. I would check the B/S/T forums here, or maybe ebay. You can also try the manufacturer: http://jjperformance.com/shop/index.php?cPath=21_30. They are charging $150 for the whole kit though, so I would look around.

Actionvillage carries a J&J 4-back Spyder barrel kit (http://www.actionvillage.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/DisplayProductInformation-Start;sid=dhZ9RuqLRep90a0dKzG97uBfSCUiTupVmQQ=?Pro ductID=srisFAY7rYEAAAD7hCEwXFDu), but it's not in stock right now.

I would also check amazon. I did a search for 'spyder edge elite', and it brought up a couple of them in the $85-$100 range. I can't speak for any of the sellers, but they are at least out there.

Or you can try an Empire Revolver barrel kit for the spyder, they're a little cheaper than other kits like Freak or Evil Pipe, comes with 5 bore inserts...
FirstCallPaintball sells them for 50 + shipping, or you can try to bid on one too, starting .99 ;) i got mine for 40 total :D

i would invest in a barrel kitlike gaza maajka said. unless you are sure you'll be using the same paint everytime. i just always like to be prepared rather than have my accuracy crippled

Just get a Palmer's pursuit Shop (PPS) Brass Barrel (search here & google, you'll find it) and be done with it. Unlrdd you plan on dropping serious coin on an entire high end barrel KIT, you wont be able to match the PPS's performance and you sure as hell wont be able to do so while matching the price ($45 for a basic PPS barrel which performs just as well as one with the extra cost options like porting).

I just picked up a revolver for my sons imagine from first call. They have it for $49.99 or best offer. I offered $30.00 and they took it.

If I had to pick a bore size, I would say .689 or .691 is going to be what the average single bore size is.

.691 IMO. I usually leave that insert in my DW Fibur barrel kit, and I have 7 other inserts to choose from.
