I read under one of the reviews for the RT kit that they replaced the thumb screw. does anyone have a picture of the new RT Kit?

I don't have a picture of it, but the picture thread does. I believe it is on the third or fourth page. Personally, I like the old style better, no need to bust out your screwdriver to adjust the ROF.

You dont need a screw driver to adjust it, just use your finger nail it is actualy easier than the older one becasue you dont have to hold it with a wrench

 never had to hold mine with a wrench to adjust it.

eh im thinking about buying an RT...but people say that if you use co2 and your tank starts getting low then the RT will not work...does that mean the gun wont shoot at all or just the RT?

The RT Trigger word on the blow-back to reset your trigger. It dons't use much CO2 at all. Also when you low on CO2 it may not work as well as when you started, but you will still be able to shoot. If you have your trigger spring in.

One question I have is does anyone know if you have to use the big heavy spring the mod came with, or can you use a rubber band of the original spring?

I would only use the heavy spring that came with it. They give you a strong spring so it pulls the sear back faster. If you use a rubber band, it won't pul the sear fast enough, and then the RT will not work right.

You just have to mess around with it for a while. I'd start by setting the RT midway somewhere and taking it from there. Get the reactiveness you like, enough to push your trigger finger (s) back after the shot. Then pull lightly to release the hammer and fire the gun. If you keep pressure on the trigger, after the RT bounces back, you may be able to fire bursts. It happens because you can't react fast enough to let up on the trigger before the RT punches back and you pull the trigger again. If you get it right, you can get some nice loooooooooong bursts.

Essentially, you never stop pulling the trigger, the RT just resets your hands, and you fire without really trying to, its like a runaway trigger.

My friend and I tweaked it so we had semi-FA, just for fun, I think FA is stupid to play with.

 Good explanation Tellefragged.

It's kind of hard to articulate exactly how it works. But, it's not hard to get it to work how you want it to when you have one. It only took me about six minutes before I was doing semi, bursts, and auto. (All on the same adjuster setting.)

Heres a question for you rt guys. Can you use a double trigger with an rt? And is a double trigger even necessary with an rt?

Yes, you can use a double trigger. And, no, it is not necessery, it is just a preferance. I don't use one, because I had a hard time trying to get the RT to work how I was telling it too. I was putting too much pressure on the trigger with it. Some people like it with an RT though, and can use it to it's full potential with it.
