DYE Spyder thread will not fit on my MR1...

Bought a DYE 2 piece barrel for Spyder thread and I can’t get it onto my MR1. It will thread on about 1/3 of the way and stop, it looks as if the butt on the barrel that goes into the marker is too long… Are there more than 2 types of spyder threads?

There's only one as far as I know. It's probably got the wrong kind of threads. It could have autococker threads. People tend to get the two mixed up a lot. Got a picture of the threads?

my friend had that same problem with one of his barrels for his vs2. his vs2 barrel would fit on his compact, but one of compact barrels he had (not his stock) wouldn't fit the vs2. weird.
