Red dots are best for paintball purposes. Last time some one had a laser on me, not only did it blind me for a few secounds, it gave me a nice line to throw a few bonus balls down.

I don't know exactly what you mean by red dot, but I'd go with a reflective site, like the sure shot or hot shot.

You can't see a dot on a person so L.S is useless. scopes mess of the distance the person is, use a red dot sight.

are red dot and reflective sites the same thing?

many fields will not allow true laser (or "projecting") sights due to possibilities of eye damage. Hence, you are better off going with something else. I use a Armson Pro-Dot. Takes getting used to, but does a wonderful job.

Yes red dot sights and reflective sights are the same thing. I recomend the Hot Shot.

For paintball, i recomend the proteam products sights, they do work nice, it takes a while to adjust to using it, but it works
