I just got through selling my tricked 98 cocker to a local paintball store for 600. I have about 50 bucks in my pocket right now and if I sell my old tricked spyder SE I could easily get another 100 - 150. So I am looking at a price range of about 700 - 800. Im not sure on weather I should buy an aftermarket cocker such as the pro team STO or the 2001 woor games STO cocker. Or if perhaps I should go with an electro gun like the Bob Long Intimidator or the Matrix. Whats your take?

I would say go with a timmy if you are a upfront player who is going to need to be able to shoot fast and if you are a back player go with a cocker it doesnt really matter which one they are all awsome

I prefer my cocker over the intimidator.

i own a vortex cocker and i love it, i personsly think that electos are unfair, i think that semi should be the limit, its a total disadvantge playing a electro, electros make up for lak of skill, thats what i think, im not dising on people who use them, i just think that turbo, auto, and all those other modes are just a waste, ive played against angels and i have won. its all the player, but electro helps a bit.

if anything I might just get the centerfeed 2k1 cocker from my local paintball store. I assume it will be around 500 dollars. I have a 500 dollar gift certificate there for selling my old cocker. I aslo have 125 bucks in my pocket as well as another 150 that will come to me soon after I sell my old spyder SE. I just want a little extra money left over so I can upgrade. I just bought an ergo inline reg off of someone on ebay for 41 dollars (36 dollars not including shippin and handeling). I am then going to get new front pneumatics because the stock is crap. I will tehn get a new barrel and then a new bolt and perhaps later on get a dye trigger frame w/ stickes as well as a n2 system. This wont be for a while though because I need the money ;]

go for the intimmidator its da bomb i'm getting one myself . I had the same problem as u did Cocker or electro i chose electro cause i had so many friends go electro..(actually i had a cocker for 1 1/2 months but got stolen...) BUT the only reason i got that cocker is cause i needed a new gun and i had 400 bucks and wasn't gonna save up anymore. But since it has been stolen i am gonna go with the intimmidator. Cause i have bout 200 now i might have it by november cause i won't have a new job for a while.

You can get a bushmaster with every feature that an angel has for less than $700. You can max it out with every gismo made for an electro for less than $1000. The bushmaster is the most upgradable electro and gives you the most for your dollar. The things you can do to the bushmaster arent even available for most other electros and if they are they are custom instead of massed produced. The only other gun that has all that the bushmaster has is an angel. For the price of a stock angel you can get a fully upgraded bushmaster that will outperform the angel as well as some cash left over fro some barrels or nitro or whatever. If you compare the bushmaster to any other electro you will find that its only competitor costs alot more.
I recently sold my cocker and i was looking at building another one. i was also looking at angels, intimidaters, impulse, bushmasters, matrix and excaliburs. i was very surprised when my researched showed that the bushmaster was the best value. I had always considered it as a wanna be angel with no potential before i started comparing all the electros. If you look at the electro forum you will see all my ranting about the bushmaster and most people are tired of hearing what I say so ill stop now.
