This might sound dumb, but i just got a icd promaster and i was reading "you shouldn't use marker oil." If thats the case, then what do you use and what works the best. I don't see how a derlin bolt can't be lubed by a normal marker oil. I used marker oil on my 04 cocker for years.

help would be great.

use grease to lube. the delrin will swell from absorbing the marker oil.

don't lube the bolt. you only need to lube delrin bolts if they have o-rings on them. if you have an aftermarket bolt with o-rings on it, a thin film of dow33 or a similar lube should be applied to the o-rings to keep them moist.

dow33, Superlube, Sl33k, and similar grease type lubes will work for the entire gun.

Have fun with your new gun!

Make sure you thoroughly clean every single part of your marker before you lube it up.

For years and still, the only thing I do to delrin bolts is clean it with water, no lube. Seems to work well for me, no problems. To each his own.

yes like these other people said..just clean the bolt, wipe it clean,i use moist 'lens wipes' that i get from walmart or walgreens, the kind used to clean glasses, safety glasses,etc..to clean all parts of my marker..the eyes, the bolt..you dont need to lube you bolt, delrin is self lubricating..and as far as lubing the ram,use either dow 33,dow 55,or hater sauce like i do with my promaster..change the lube out every few games..and your marker should treat you good.
