new gun, or upgrade the old one?

anyone with a little advice would be great...
i currently have a semi-tricked out tippman98, and i am wondering if i should move up to a better gun, or upgrade the hell out of my old companion...
the next upgrades for the 98 would be a flatline and n2, and the new gun would probably be a minimag.... anyone out there?
