Has anyone ever used these paintballs?? I cant find any info on them anywhere. Ill I know is that it says on the box " Professional Grade". I can get them for a really, REALLY, great price. I would just like to know something about them first!

You typically get what you pay for. BTW, there is no definition for "professional grade" so they can say ANYTHING is "professional grade" and not be false advertising. Just FYI.
Heres a novel idea... this is PBReview, right? Why not TRY those balls, then WRITE A REVIEW on them! ;)

I've heard of a few people getting a hold of those actually. I heard mixed reactions to them. Though I can tell you that shoot better then XO Spectrum.

I did try these paintballs, and let me say that I am very impressed. These balls have a brittle shell, so they never bounce, and they fly as straight as an arrow. I would personally compare them to Chronic or Evil, which I have shot a lot of. They are a whole lot cheaper though!! I shot them out of a MR-2 with a 16” SP Progressive barrel, a MR-1 with a 16” Winforce barrel and a Synergy with a 16” Winforce barrel. Every marker shot the same. Ball-on-Ball at 40 – 50 yards.

We recently had a event of 100 people at this field (don't want to say field to make it seem like i'm trying to advertise) and it was field paint only, normally they have their own brand special made for them but for some reason they pulled out and had these instead.
We were playing out in brush and forest, so the paint we use normally is a bit harder to break then most paint, but this paint was insane.
THIS WAS LIKE SHOOTING MARBLES
From 10 feet a way a guy got lit up wearing a t-shirt and was hit roughly 20 times in a matter of 2 seconds. EVERY BALL BOUNCED not a single ball broke. The guy had purple bruises from his chest and was bleeding. This stuff is deadly, with a 100 people we went through about 75 cases each was the same. This stuff just doesn't want to break at all. What really sucked was that the scenario was a star wars theme and the Jedi could only be killed via goggles, however the standing joke at the end of the days was that EVERYONE was a jedi since thats the only place that broke the paint (however most people would call them selfs out after a good solid 10 hits...jedi couldn't because they didn't want to loose their jedi power so had to deal with the onslaught)
another problem is the paintballs were slimy. The bags would be coated with orange oily perspiration .
We ended up calling the paint "Speedballer Punishment" and to use when playing with speedballers who always wipe.
I guess if you want to hurt someone get this stuff, other than if you literally have to shoot through brush and 3 cacti (hint kids don't hide behind cacti)

You can get them for a good price locally or online? I really want to try them out. Ive heard nothing but good things about them, well, till i read this thread.
Aamelron- I cant believe they didnt break, their supposed to have a brittle shell. Was the accuracy atleast any good? Ill still give them a shot.

The accuracy was good, I didn't have an issue with it. The balls are pretty much 100% uniform in size throughout and didn't vary from ball to ball and the seam was good. They would break, just it would take a LOT LOT more for them to break then most paint I've used (and I use wood ball paint that is naturally harder to break) That 20 hit to the chest was not an exaggeration. Maybe our entire group got a bad batch that was stored wrong at the warehouse I am just telling you an experience from 100 people at that field that day.
I have taken the liberty to upload a youtube video of me doing a test to the bushido paint, and another brand of paint to show you which breaks easier. If you want it I can mail you the link (don't have enough post to link yet)

I know its a lot of random pictures, just trying to show that this isn't me attacking some random company I don't like, I love their dark lotus paint. This stuff, for us and the whole field did not break reliantly that day.

That video made me laugh.
If nothing else, at least you could use them as practice balls, probably cheaper than reballs.

Yeah, that video was funny. Damn, i really do think, that field got their supply from a bad company. I cant believe it didnt break when you used all that pressure.
So the dark lotus is good? Thats another one i wanna try, maybe ill just spend acouple more bucks and get that stuff.

Oh, by the way, do you know who is your fields supplier?
Aamelron
04-22-2008, 04:56 PM
I am not sure, we normally only use Tactical paintballs (the green one I had with the crosshair and the troop) however for some reason the supplier didn't come through. I think the normal supplier for us is "black ops" here is a picture of the paintball case it comes in.

are images of the box it comes in. As far as I know and have been informed this specific mixture is not sold to anyone outside this field as its made just for them.

I wanna try using a table vise to see how far it goes until it breaks, but i'm afraid of the mess.
went ahead and did it anyways, i'm not going to lie I went kind of slow so it wasn't instant.
When it finally did break it sprayed out of a pinhole and hit the top of my monitor

Are you sure that these are Banzai Bushido paintballs?? I didn't see any box, so I can't be sure. You are using the red/yellow ball, wich looks exactly like the Visible Impact. What color fill did it have? Banzai Bushido is a very brittle paint, so even if thet got wet and sat directly in the sun for a whole day, they should never, ever, ever under any circumstance take that much punishment without breaking! Visible Impact on the other hand, is a whole different story! Maybe your field swapped out the paintballs for another ball that looks similar. All I know is that my personal experience with this paint, everyone else that I know that has used this paint and Archon all agree that, this is not Banzai Bushido, or something went terribly, terrilby, insanely wrong.
Just so you know, if you find a ball that is this hard to break, you should stop shooting it immedietly! Certainly not, under any circumstances, keep shooting it at anyone!!!!!! The fact that this was field paint and the reff's obviously knew about the problem and still allowed this stuff to be used doesn't speak very highly of them. Especially knowing that to kill a Jedi required a HEAD SHOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Someone could have been seriously injured or even killed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Bushido I had was red/yellow, same as the spyder paint when they first came out.

Jesus Christ I thought you were joking when you said they were like marbles. But DAMN! I HOPE that's just a case of bad paint, otherwise someone's going out of business real soon.
Unless they do a really good PR Blitz for these balls as "Speedball Punishment."

First off, I would appreciate it if you would not use the Lord's name in that manner! I am a devoted Christian and do take offensne to it, even though I'm sure you attended none. But, this batch of paint has been checked by BIN# at the warehouse. There does not seem to be any problems whatsoever with the paint there. The field has also been contacted about the paint. I will leave it at that and wait for Amerlon to post the rest.:)

I know what your saying ,but if it's offending, you should try to have enough curdisy(srry can't spell it and spell checks not installed) for him to just say "OK" and repect him for at least taking a stand for what he believes.;)
P.S. he said "I would appreciate it if...." he just said he would appreciate it. Not trying to corret or tell people wat to do.

as for the bushidos: that must have just been a bad case, or whoever you or the field got it from sucks at storage. paint shouldn't do that, i don't care how bad it is.

I asked on my forum what the deal was with the paint, and the field owner said this
s this the same post that has a you tube part?
If so I heard about it from the factory and our sponsor already.
BTW that particular lot of paint we informed the factory about the next day. They did some investigation and I am told pulled that lot # back off the market.
We were told something got screwed up in the formula during manufacturing and we were one of the first to get it.
I asked about refunding this box of paint I have, but they said the recall was for stuff that was only in the factory, so basically I have a lethal weapon on my hand and no way to get rid of it except to shoot some people =),
Also, its not Reeball quality. They do eventually break, and when you shoot them they become warped.

i think someone mention how much this paint cost. i saw it at my field for about 11$/500 bag. which is wallmart asks for visible impact.
i have the squishy paddles and a cyclone, but it says not to use in the cyclone or it will become soup.(litteraly)--because of its britality(sp?)
if anyone has used the paint with the kind of cyclone mods im using pm me and let me know, or mention in forum, becuse it was the cheapest paint there compared to the zaps they were selling.
aamelron had teh stuff i shot.
you guys got bad batches, cause teh stuff i used was actually decent rec/field paint. i live in maryland, if that says something about my climate. but as for the paint, it was pretty darn accurate, not tourney grade accurate but surprising for field paint. i remember a decent fill, somewhat good for field paint, but i do remember them being hard. not oh these things are marbles, but oh, they do tend to bounce a tad more than a decent paintball should.
