I hate to add another this vs that to the mix but, I was hoping someone would willing to give me their input on 2 different barrels I have. I have a Tippy Alpha Black (basically a 98 with asthetics). I bought two different barrels and plan on only keeping one. I came upon a J&J Ceramic and an Evil Driver (both 14"). I have shot both and they seem to be pretty close in accuracy. I've had a chance to have an outing with the J&J and it worked fairly well for me. Had a couple breaks and they cleaned out decently with a couple extra shots, which is a nice feature. I have noticed the J&J is a smaller in diameter than the evil, which limits my choices in paint a little. I've read and read the reviews on both barrels and I'm still torn on which to keep. Can anyone offer persuasion? I would hate to get rid of the wrong one. Note: I only play rec woods ball with friends.

If your paint varies and you evil is bigger bore id stick with that but if you are using paint that is consistent with your J&J id go with that. if the bore on the J&J is .688 I would keep it in a heartbeat but if its small like .685 i would go with the driver.

Keep both. You essentially have the beginning of a kit if they are different diameters. I would bet you'll find one or the other better depending on the paint of the day.
