Mabe it's me, but when I set my pressure on my maxflow to about 140 psi, I seem to get less shots off my HPA tank than when I set it at 180.
Why is it the lower the pressure, the more air your gun consumes? I'm assuming that the lower the pressure, the more air (volume wise) is required to propell a paintball at say 280 fps. The higher the pressure (say 500 psi), less of it is required to propell the paintball since it has much more potential energy. With this said, I think if I want more shots out of my tank, Mabe I should set the dwell so my gun will shoot 280 at 170-180 psi.
My Impulse right now is running at 150 psi and has a VFF and Delrin bolt. My friends imp has just a delrin bolt running at 180 psi and his gun gets off more shots than mine.
