I'm just curious about how many people are playing paintball for Military Simulation. Many of you will say the military is for strange people who take a lot of crap for not much. But I am proud of my country's military and I plan to enlist in the U.S. Navy this next year. For those who wish to truly enjoy this blessed land, you must learn how hard those in our military work to protect it.
So does anyone actually play paintball for the safe enjoyment of battle and war? Or has this game gone politically correct and become all competition based?

My thoughts are politically correct, and that's all I'll say on the matter

I think you can play scenarios to keep the game original, but it's not warfare. And unless you carry 40lb packs and hike 10 miles or more when you play it's nothing like what those in the military do. Even that probably won't represent how hard our military works to protect us. Try telling your drill instructor about paintball preparing you for war and you'll be doing pushups from now till the end of time.
I'm not badmouthing scenarios as long as people understand it's not war, it's just a way to enjoy paintball in a new way.

Seeing as how the original point of the game was never war in the first place.....
