yes, just make sure that the remote can handle the amount of pressure the tank will emit.

you will be fine with any tank. you are going to have to use a screw in system with your remote kit, and most screw in systems at the highest have a preset output pressure of about 850psi.

what I meant was that the remote I have is set for up to 3000 psi of pressure. If your HPA is set higher than 3000 psi, you can't use it on the remote.

WRONG, god some people hav just got to get their facts straight!
A HPA tank has whats called a regulator on it. it regulates the out going pressure to 850+- psi (usually) there fore a remote CAN be used with a 4500 psi nitrogen tank because the pressure going through the remote is only 850 psi. im sorry but these types of rumors have to be stopped and you people need to get your facts straight!

whoa, chill out a little, buddy! Sorry to disrespect the almighty Arbie! If you want people to listen to your statements, you might not want to openly attack other users on here. I'm not saying you're wrong, nor did I say that I was positively correct. It was nothing more than a suggestion. And, as another suggestion, you should see your doctor about some prozac!

alright, you fixed it for me, then. Thanks. But was what I was told, too, so I was just passing on (bad) information.

no problem. Since my beliefs were a little skewed, maybe you can help me out here. If HPA gives off a general 850 psi, why do some remotes go up to 10000 psi? Just more protection?

Yea, its just a safety net. incase a regulator goes bad or somethin like that. also, incase you are playing in hot weather with c02. co2 can generate massive amoounts of pressure at high temperatures. c02 is unregulated so the pressure in the bottle is the pressure in the remote, this is not the case with HPA. i hope this has been enlighening. :D

yes that is for protection! and besides a tank with a 3000psi or 4500psi output pressure would just about blow every seal and o-ring inside your marker, probably blow off your macro line if you are using that, and do god knows what else to your internals

Not to mention anyone within about a 15foot radius.

Same thing as brake hoses on cars. Their rated for 65000psi but they wont see more than 30000 generally.
