Tiger shark mods.

Hey i have a tiger shark )hope to get a pec master soon) what type of mods could i do to increase my fps

Well the easiest mod would be to buy a new bolt spring. They can run newhere from $5 bucks to $30 or hight depending on the brand and type u buys. Other then that u can replace the bolt entirely... I put a shocktech spring on mine i think it was like $20 but i'm not sure. I have tons of other mod ideas for the shark, if u want ne just ask!!*

buy a lapco barrel adaptor so you can get a boomstick or another good barrel

the barrel adaptors r made for stingrays.. stingray barrels r a bigger bore then tigershark barrels, so the adaptor wont work. Tigersharks accept all aftermarket spider barrels, so u don't really have to worry bout it

l've posted already bout all the upgrades on my shark... My pro is pretty much stock, cept fo the new trigger sear i had to add.

give ya for a shark...

double barrels
bottom line
xpansion chamber
custom cocking handle
double trigger
ported stock barrel
replacement ball detent
custom L stock

tons of others....

The spyder barrels do work, but they do not fit perfect. they are not long enough in the front so they don't fit tight. But all the same I have a stock Tl plus barrel on my shark. Haven't had a chance to try it yet.

how do i raise the fps without buying a new spring??

try placing pennies behind the spring and valve setup. Simply put the tighter the spring the higher the velocity

Wouldn't that totally rise you'r velocity, like a ton. Does the spring go into the end cap thing like it does on a spyder? If I was to do that to my paintball gun it would go well over 300 i geuss.

WHat is the highest you have ever had you'r gun go? I want to get a spring from the hardware store and just fool around and see if I can get the gun to go above 500 fps.

Pleeaaze don't do that with a hardware store spring!!* For one u will probably scratch the crap outa the internals, for another i don't even think that it'll fit. Besides if ne gun hits above 400 fps all the gun can do is break balls, the velocity is just way to high for the paintball to clear the barrel

O ya.. the highest my velocity has ever spiked is 327 on my shark ( ya thats right on my shark).

I didn't think about the ball breaking. But I could of found a spring that wouldn't of scratched my gun easily.


I still think it would be cool to see a gun shoot above 500 fps.

I have a friends that has a tigershark and he deals with paintball alot...Recently he ended up with a 14"big daddy and a 9vlt revvie....guess where it went...damn straight...on the tigershark...Sunday he sighted in a red dot sight and I tried it out....It was very accurate. with the closed bolt and big daddy.....NO BALL BREAKS...The big daddy didn't break one and we were putting 6 month old 32* platinums and secong quality pink things...he says If he uses it next time he'll put marb through it....I'm tempted to buy a tigershrak from bbt 40 + shipping and a bigshot for pbbarrels for 50 no shipping. nice...and where did you get the shocktec spring for $20 skull???

Bought it at my local store Paintball of Tulsa, they havn't exactly got a large group of customers, so alota the equipment they carry is discount
