My A-5 Cyclone Hopper seems to shake loose during the games. I have the quick change thumb screws and they are on tight. But the screw somehow is loose and the hopper is only attached by the air hose. Anyone else have this problem? I don't want to go back to the allen wrench screw if I can help it.

You really need to elaborate more on what you just posted, because the hopper is not attached to anything by anything. The hopper is where you put the balls and it goes inside the cyclone, is held there by the pressure applied. You will notice the cyclone has a little gap on the side and also you will see the hopper has a little plastic sticking out on the side, that little plastic goes where the little hole is on the cyclone. Thats like a locking mechanism.
EDIT:
Also the screws dont have anything to do with it since like i said, the hopper is not held by anything other than pressire. Think of it like a pressure bottle cap or something.

Okay, The housing of the Hopper is what is screwed into the gun. That's what is unscrewing loose.

Okay im going to guess is the cyclone. Try putting some teflon tape on it. That will fix your problem.

Thanks for the ideas. I'll try the teflon tape first. I guess I should have thought of that myself

Either that or what curly said, replace them or for the moment put there the regular allen one since you dont have to move that screw at all unless there are major breaks in the cyclone.

Make sure you've got the right one holding the cyclone in. That screw is much larger than the other two, and if you try to use one of the smaller ones, it won't hold.

I have the right screws in place. Iv'e had this A-5 for at least 3 years. This just started to occur at the end of the season of last year. The screws aren't stripped, and I will try the teflon tape next time before going back to the original screws.
Thanks for the imput
