I personally use the SLY barrel and I was told NOT to use fuzzy swabs. It has something to do with the porting that if the fuzz would catch in the porting it could unravel the carbon fiber making the paintball traveling out go in many directions and in time chop the second it hits the unraveled carbon fiber. It also ruins the barrel which i described above. Id be on the safe side and buy a rubber squeegie (Physcho Ballistics they work fine.)

it won't always ruin it but it could... Tyson said that he has a barrel that he uses a swab on with no ill effects yet but that isn't saying that it won't happen... They do recommend that you do not use a swab but lets face it swabs are total garbage anyway... I have never understood the point in using one to be honest with you... A squeegie is SO much easier to use it isn't funny because one to two swipes and you are completely clean... Just fork over a few dollars for a squeegie lol why risk a $200 barrel kit with a $2 swab
