What is a good barrel, brand, and length for a Tippmann 98, for speedball?

I use a J&J Edge Elite kit on my markers, and I've been very happy. For $100 you get 5 backs and 3 fronts, which lets you do a decent job of matching the bore to the paintball, and also gives you flexibility in which length you use. Between my two kits, I can make a barrel from 10"-16" long.

On a Tippy, I tend to lean towards shorter barrels. The inline blowback style is long enough, you don't want to be running around with a spear.

whatever u do, dont go flatty or Apex. Too many complications. I'd agree with lenny the J&J's are good barrels, and they make ones in the $40 range as well as the Elite kit. as for length, i use a 14 inch not bad but 12 would probably be better.

J&J edge kit is great..i use it on my ion. id recommend it if ur on a lower budget
