I know this is gunna sound stupid, but iv never played speedball so bear with me. Alright, from my understand, speedball is like capture the flag, only with one flag right? I think i got that right, but what i dont understand is when you grab the flag, do you have to get it back to your base? Or do you get the points just by getting it? And if you have to get it back to your base, and your shot on the way, you got to drop it where you are, or take it back the center or what? Thanks.

Speedball is when you have players starting at opposite ends of a speedball field. Then its just a death match. be careful around new players, because i went with some freshmen on a school trip last year, and those retards shot me. Anywho, there are no flags. Just alot of paint.:freak:

The game is called Centerflag. It's where one team tries to get the single flag in the middle of the field, to the enemies base.

It can be elimination, capture the flag, or center flag.
In center flag there is one flag and it is in the center. Points are scored by getting the first "pull" and by getting the "hang" (on the other end of the field from where you started) before the time runs out and usually after all of the other team is eliminated.

"Speedball" is simply a game of paintball played on a small field... usually about 75'x100'. It is usually 3 on 3 or 5 on 5. There doesn't have to be a flag and can be played as straight elimination, but this isn't usually the case. In tournaments it is generally played as "center-flag" style game with a 5 minute time limit (hence the name SPEED-ball). The object being to get the flag from the center of the field an hang it BEHIND your opponents starting line... regardless of how many opposing players have been eliminated. However it is MUCH easier to get to your opponents flag station if they've all been eliminated, but it isn't necessary. The game is over when someone hangs the flag... even if you eliminate the entire opposing team, you MUST hang the flag.
