MY first lense for my spectra was a Chrome lense, it was cool except for one thing. IT SCRATCHES VERY EASILY. The mirror, or prism lenses do not have an anti-scratch coating like the other lenses do. Because the mirror lense uses different materials to get the prism effect, anti-scratch is compromised. Hence, I recieved a large scratch on my Chrome lense, which is now useless.

I have a yellow lense which works great and does not scratch.

I got a yellow lens thinking it would brighten things up when I play on dark days or in the woods, man way I wron, it just makes things SEEM brighter, but it washes out all the colors, especially in woods ball where people wear camo. I would recommend clear, no colors or tinted lens will let you see as good, if it's too bright, just were some sunglasses under them.

I agree with Andrew on yellow. I play recball in a very open field that is very bright. Yellow only enhances glare, and since we all wear camo, it's impossible to see anyone who is remotely near cover. I'd say smoke if you're playing outdoors during the day.

Right now i have clear, and tinted. I wanted yellow to help w/ seeing movements and amber to help w/ seeing outlines. i also wanted a prism to get used to cause ppl tell me if you get used to one of the prisms you can use it for a lot of differnt things.

what prism should i get?

i have seen the blue and orange..and i liked the blue better, i haven't seen chrome. can someone post some pics?

also has anyone ever heard of a lens caes? that holds like 4 lenses that would fold up w/ foam and yuo could just place it in your goggle bag? taht would be really helpful, has anyone ever heard of one and where can i get them? thx

Yellow ones are cool, see I told you it was a good choice, but when I used it at the wood game where I bunkered those twos guys, I couldn't see that good, but I think it was just cuz you didn't clean it after you got googed.

Yes those get really smeary if not cleaned really any goggle will thats why i bough tear-offs baby!!! I reuse mine hehe.

well, was going w/ smoke, but then i was in the no smoking section so i chose chrome b/c no new car has chrome anymroe, and paintball is trying to bring back chrome, that is why i bought a truck w/ chrome bumpers and grill, to keep it alive.

For all you " paintball snipers " (lol) an amber lens would be a wise buy for you. They are awesome, especially in the woods. They make it really easy to tell the outline of a person, when in all camo and against a tree. It helps you see outlines that shouldn't be there, and it would be great in the woods w/ all the trees and nature stuff around.

Might be a good buy for you " snipers " :)

yes you can the only differentece between flex and spec is the bottom part the protects your face.
