speedfeed?

i am new to paintball and i was wondering if a speedfeed on a empire b was a good idea i play back. if this is the wrong forum mods plz move

If you want to be able to load your hopper without having to open the lid, and then close it after, then it is a good idea. Doesn't matter if you are front, back, mid or fill, the end result is the same - you can fill your loader quicker.

Downside? No good in the mud or rain - it lets water in to your loader to ruin your paint. Switch back to your normal lid if it is going to be wet.

ok ill just have the lid on it for faster play if there is rain so i dont have to miss a game b-cuz im changing lids =/

They dump a lot of paint if you dive or slide.

Check out the new Virtue crown. Won't let much, if any rain in. It will hold paint better too.

Also i've been shot inside my hopper a couple of times using one...if you play speedball it would be more common for that to happen than woodsball.
