Hello, I was having trouble adjusting my velocity with an allen key on my A-5.
When I took the gun apart, I looked at the piece that the screw was in. (It's a black plastic piece shaped like a cylinder.) I noticed the screw was crooked and it is very hard to get to, there is only a small hole that allows you to see it.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I contacted Tippmann already, looking to see if anyone else has had this problem.
Thanks

I havent heard of it but maybe when you screwed it in it went crooked or maybe the previous owner or even the factory depending where you bought it from. My advice is just get another power tube which is the black cylinder looking thing you said.

Just a replacement powertube if the threads are damaged. Call Tippmann about getting a replacement.

That black plastic piece is called the power tube. Inside there, you'll find the valve. When Tippmann sends you a new 'tube, it's not gonna have the valve inside, so you're gonna have to take it out. The easiest way I find is to remove the velocity screw completely and shove a pencil (eraser first) into the small end of the power tube. Shove on the pencil (bang it lightly on the table if you must) until the valve comes out the other end. Installation is the reverse, but don't use that aluminum pin to push the valve back in.
