The "post reply" and "new thread" buttons are too close together. Hundreds of useless threads are started everyday because of this. I say to put the less used "new thread" button somewhere else.

i dont necessarily think that "new thread" needs to be stuck somewhere else. i just think that "post reply" should come before the "new thread" button. it would make more sense that sumone would want to reply to a topic before they would want to make a new thread for replying to it. i dunno im just used to "reply" before "new thread"

The problem isn't the proximity, it's the user! Too many guys are in too big of a hurry, thinking they've got the answer! Slow down! Look before you leap! Or in this case click!

ya, the person should really watch what they are clicking . . . and moving the button (like switching the other one first) would cause more problems than now since people are used to they way it is . . .
Okay guys, if some of you can't master your motor skills, maybe you're young enough that you need adult supervision while on the internet. Otherwise, change your mouse sensitivity to a lower setting. Even if it takes you an hour to get between buttons, that's okay. :D
P.S. I'm not going to spend hundreds of hours coming up with a new hack for vbulletin just to move some buttons...I still need time for sleep and paintball.
