hey, our team has two aircannons, too big to be attached to our 98c's, but if a smaller one was made, could it be attached??? heres a pic of them. the white one is 6 feet long and the green one is like 4.5' .

My visits to these forums are getting all too rare. :(

Yes, you can do it. I made the plans to do it to my 98c, but I never had the drive to until I get my friend's field playable. You need a dedicated air source, though, so run it remote. I'm too lazy to do pictures, so I'll describe it as best as possible.

The diagram is somewhere, I'll try to dig it out, but I probably won't get a chance to find it or post it. So for now, no specific parts (as in exact parts needed (male/female), bla bla, but you'll get the idea)

Run your remote to a metal connector that is attached to copper pipe. It needs to be about a 3/4" pipe. That has to connect to a ball valve. A solenoid sprinkler valve won't work because it is under the pressure of the air source at this point, which is above its rating. All pieces under the pressure must be metal (probably copper) regulated for at least 1000 psi. Connect that ball valve to a pvc barrel. You should know how to do all that, considering most of this you already know because you have built air cannons in the past.

Now, the problem is mounting and size.
Mounting- Mount it on the right side of the gun. I'd suggest using an L connector that is perpendicular to the side of the gun. It would be obtrusive, but so is the entire cannon. Attach the remote to that. Run that below the curved part of the gun, on the right side (you know what I mean). Now we have another problem. You can keep going straight, but it may get in the way of the barrel. Or you can make a quick z, by using a 90* connector down, and then another 90* connector forward. Drop the piece about 1" below the barrel, and attach the ball valve. Attach the pvc pipe to the ball valve.
Size- How do we make a large enough barrel? Extend the ball valve pvc about 6" past the tip of the barrel. Use a piece with threads and you can screw on a barrel extension, and perhaps a silencer. This is also a part in theory.

So, you'd have to build it to find out. I'll probably do that this summer when I have some free time.
