Hello, my name is victor I don't know if any of you care but I'm starting to get into paint balling. It is a really fun sport as you guys already know, and I already love it. I'm starting to paint ball because my brother use to do it and his guns just collecting dust and its awesome hahah. I've gone a couple times just for fun so I decided to commit to this sport. Since then I recently bought a new electric hopper because my brothers view loader evolution3 broke. I also bought some pants and my harness should becoming tomorrow. I want to be apart of these forums and this community. If anything I'll buy stuff from pbreview.com only. If I like this community xD. so yeah get to know me.

You pretty much have to buy from people other than pbreview, as the only items this site has are jerseys and sandanas, and you don't even order them from this site.

Welcome to paintball and PBR, hope you enjoy both for a long time to come. Don't know if the spell checker did it but paintball is one word ;).

hahah spell check lied then. My brother gave me a spdyer amg lcd. It's kind of old and I even looked it up and couldn't find it. I guess they stopped selling it. So I went paintballing today it was really hot though. whatever, I went with 2 of my friends because 3 people didn't show up. Tomorrow my friends going to take me to Fillmore. I've never been there so its gonna be fun. I'm usually active with forums so.. yea I'll stay here :P

yupp hahah. It's a ok gun right? I like it. It use to be really good when it came out so I'm sure its a good gun for me as a beginner. Earlier today when I went paintballing I shot my friend in the throat and in his left nut. ^.^

Welcome to the sport of paintball!!!!!!!! You came to the right site. There are a pretty good group of guys and galls here. You should have no problem fitting right in. I think that AMG will do you fine for your first marker.
Where are you from?

Yes i think so too. Maybe in the near future I will upgrade to a better gun. And I'm from santa paula. Theirs not much to paintball here sadly.. but yeah.

AMGs are cool guns, they were the first low pressure Spyders. I would hang onto that one if I were you.

yeah, it must get even hotter for you. It's about 96-100 degrees through out the day.
Ahh, I'm all scared to go paintballing later on today. I'm going with older guys and I heard from my friend a guy just got his angel all ready to use it. I'm going to wear a little more padding. Anyone have some advice for me? I desperately need it.

Probably a little late but don't let yourself get intimidated. If you wear your mask, wear good shoes/boots that are comfortable and give you good traction, and if you have/need one a cup you'll be fine. Paintball is very safe if you follow the rules, only thing to really worry about is regular sport wear and tare.

Your probably nervous because of that first elimination shot huh? Well once you get shot you wont be nervous anymore.

The guys I went paintballing were all really nice they told me this too. I had a lot of fun, it was great. The first round I got out first hahah, but it was because of my gun. It is annoying when people say one gun is better than the other when it probably isn't but my gun actually fell apart. I went out to the side and set my gun on the table and the spring came out. My safety pin also came out too I had no idea what to do. I lost the safety pin in the dirt because I didn't even know it came out. I need to understand how paintball markers work and how to take them apart. The other guys let me borrow a stock spyder so it was all good.
Everything was a new experience to me. I realized when I went paintballing with my friends was nothing. The guys I went with were really good compared to my friends. In the begging I wasn't doing to good but In the end I was in the rounds the whole game and stuff. I was going to sit the last 3 rounds out but I couldn't, I told myself if I wanted to get better I would have to play with the guys. Thats when I got my first kill.

I though about that and yes it was nervous when I got shot 10 seconds into the game(embarrassing), but when you think about it no madder how many upgrades they have on their gun or how much money they spent your only going to get shot a couple times and then your out.

Good to hear you had fun. Having a good group of guys to play with as well really helps. Get your gun back and running if you can (ask around the Kingman/Spyder forum here they can help you out) and keep up playing and i'm sure you'll do fine. If you have the money i would kinda consider getting a new gun sometime as well. Something like a Vibe or VS1 would do nicely.

I used the VS1. I liked it I see were your going, thats a good gun for me as a begginer. I am getting a new gun in the future too, but for now I am going to order a xbox 360 elite brand new off ebay.

Haha a gaming console before a new gun. Not a bad idea i guess, it'll give you a little time to maybe play some more and see for sure how far you want to go in this sport. By the time you might want a new gun you should have a better idea of what you want and maybe even be able to get something a lot nicer then a Spyder.

Guns definitely are better than other guns and make a difference. Shoot a lot of high-end markers, you'll see.
Anyways, I don't see how a safety pin came out of the AMG when the safety on an AMG is the power button.
Unless if you mean the quick strip in came out and the striker spring came out. If that's what happened, make sure you put the marker back together like this...

Welcome from me too.
When the safety pin came out did all the internals like pictured above shoot out the back?
There is a big pin holding the internals in the marker, but there is also a little clip that looks more like a safety pin that just locks the bigger pin. If you lost the little one it's not really a big deal.
Legit Leo.

nice receipt,
welcome my first gun was a spyder Pilot ACS then i encountered the same problem as you, my internals came out because i lost a bolt, then i lost a screw that kept the frame stable, so i just upped to an Ego and babied it ever since, this forum is a nice community, no one will flame you unless you really piss someone off, but you have alrdy made a nice impression on everyone so your set for a good while on this forum, good luck with the repair and that future new gun!
btw what part of Cal are you? Socal, Norcal??
If Norcal near SF hit me up!:jumping:

Hahah, I think thats what your talking about. The little sucker fell in the dirt and I couldn't find it. It was weird though, that came out and then everything else from the back did too. The spring fell out, the safety button and something else. The safety button came out because the pin fell out. Idk It confused me.
