that would be because hex keys don't cost anything. you can get a like 28 pc hex key kit for 66 cents at walmart, so if they can give you something cheap which will draw you back to buy one of their expensive products, why not?

Be impressed when your cyclone breaks and they send you six or seven replacement ratchets.

all you got was the ratchet? i told a female customer service rep my dads cyclone on his A5 crapped out and she sent me an X7 cyclone and the LP fittings and hose. i guess my charm knows no boundaries

Oh, see I was talking to a dude, and I asked specifically for what I needed.

Maybe next time I'll ask him what he's wearing and see if he'll send me one of those new barrel kits.

If you find the magic words, let me know, I could use a nice barrel kit .

i was just really polite and played dumb (which i am a pro at  ) and told her i didn't know how to get the ratchet out and i wanted to know if i could make it feed faster. a few day later the whole set up showed up with a spare ratchet, i sold the X7 cyclone to my dads buddy gas money and swapped out the ratchet in my dads :D

I ran into the guys at Legends at CPX this year. My A-5 was having chrony problems, and I was gonna buy a new back spring from them. Ends up I was using an old valve system that they knew had this issue. So they swapped out the internals, gave me back a rebuilt gun. Shoots like new.

But I've always liked Tippmann. Way back in the day when I was a young pup I called them to get advice on getting my old Pro-Lite apart. Got a tech on the phone who said "Now hit the gun on the workbench. Don't baby that thing! Whack it hard!" And it worked, got the rod out. When I had that gun I ran into the Tippmann guys at the Ohio Bash, and they teched it for me too, and taught me how to get some of that stuff apart.

Not a lot of companies like Tippmann around much anymore. AGD used to be the same, but whatever happened to them? And you sure as hell don't see DYE teching guns at events do ya?

Tippmann have one of the best costumer support out there. Planet Eclipse are also very good.
