ok so i am trying to put a pic on a marker pic forum and it is too big what do you use to lower it down to size?

Most graphic packages have the ability to change file sizes - I personally use Micrografx Picture Publisher (in so much as I got it free and don't have Photoshop or any of that good stuff).

If you want your picture to actually appear in the post, rather than a link, upload your picture to one of the free online picture hosting sites - photobucket is a good example, but there are any number to choose from. They will provide you with an IMG link to your picture that can then be pasted directly in to your post.

Photobucket offer the facility to specify how large you want your picture to be when posted, so you don't have to do any picture processing prior to uploading - however large your picture is, photobucket will resize it to the size you specify. Saves extra mucking around.
