Tell me, what makes the Shocker better than a
1. Intimidator-Maybe a GZ
2. Viking
3. Automag
Those are the four markers I really love. The Viking I'm not sure about but I have done alot of research. The Shocker is sooo trick and I'm not ruling it out but in some areas, it seems, the Shocker can't compete. Those are size, gas efficiency etc
What makes the Shocker better than the above markers?

Gas efficiency.... who cares about that? I mean if you're gonna compete, why are you worrying about how many times during a day do you have to fill air?
As long as one tank will last me one game.... I'm cool with it.
As for size. I have had a great amount of success playing with my 99 as a front player.
EVERY single Timmy, Impy, Cocker, Angel..... user comments on my quietness and my needle-point accuracy when I bring the big guns out.

I would like to run HPA and I can get fills about 45 minutes away. For rec I would like to be able to shoot for the entire day on one tank. Co2 is available and I could easily do that too.

I admit that the gas efficiency could be better.... BUT
I KNOW something's going right when I've got multiple Angel owners, cocker owners, impy owners..... and owners of just about every other electro asking to borrow one of my shockers for a game. Whenever I do let them, it's always a case of asking for another game.

hehe, you must have a really sweet setup
Okay, you've thrust the Shocker back to the top of my list.
I've played with a Shocker(99 4X4 remote 20oz) and I found that my mobility was limited. That was also my first time using a marker with a remote. The accuracy in game sucked because I couldn't shoulder the marker. My trigger finger wasn't fast enough to max out the stock board.
When I play with my Pirahna, I'm usually diving, crawling and shooting while running. When in awkward positions or during a bunker, I sometimes shoot one-handed. I have a really compact setup right now with a 12oz, drop and new barrel.
Would the Shocker hamper my play at all? Even with a drop and short barrel I'm not sure if the marker would be as effective for the position I play as an Intimidator, Viking or Mag.
I don't need long range accuracy or quietness but those are definate advantages...especially for the rare occasions when I do play back or in the woods.

Shocker in the front.

It's not that a Shocker CAN'T be a front man's gun, it just take a bit more skill and a different setup.
You'll prolly want a big drop and a short barrel.

I saw a few pictures in the latest APG but I got this one from Planet Eclipse.
"ANODISING AURORA
In final R&D stages at the moment, It takes 20000 volts and five stages of finishing to produce this revolutionary new coating. What you get is a superhard finish that appears to change colour as you move it in the light. The effect is unreal. These special edition Eclipse Aurora markers will be available soon, but only in very limited numbers."

Basically the Cameleon paint jobs like on cars...
That's how my eclipse looks but mine is the bonzai green.

How do you like your Eclipse? I really dig the looks...is there a performance increase?

A little bit. They do a trigger job for you. Slightly better efficiency.
