What is the funniest/craziest/most insane thing that you have had happen while you were Reffing or happened to you because of the Ref? :crazy: :finger: :pissed:

hmmmmmmmm i dont know any but i saw a ref get shot in the head on the Push video and he dropped lol

The funniest thing i saw while reffing was during a game of protect the president. The president runs up to a bunker made of barrels and puts is hand on it and it falls down around him and he gets lit up. The funniest thing i saw another ref do was hold off five guys from behind a bunker with his walkie talkie.

Well...does stupidness and/or boredness count? If so, here we go: hyperball field; 5 on 5 teams. The game has been dragging on for 15 minutes, and only two people were out. I proceed to attemt a front flip over the center 50, and as I land (on my rear I might add), I yell, "THERE'S A GUY IN THE FIFTY!". Of course, as my fellow refs look on, trying not to laugh, I take 8 balls from BOTH sides into my body and/or mask. Hehe...it was painful (and paintful), but it was fun as hell.

Well, I was standing there reffing in my fashionable shorts and sweatshirt combo when my friend desides to see what I'd do when shot in the bare leg from five feet away................ :crazy:

Well as it so happened this day pink team was getting spanked hard by the green team and we'd switched players and done some other stuff to even it out but not much worked. So the refs decided to give them some help, one in particular who positioned himself in a bunker that held a path from some scrub. He'd pop out every now and then and hold his walkie, antennae pointing at the people trying to advance up the path. He'd scream surrender at them every now and then. Basicaly they where to scared to advance but it didn't matter b/c their other team mates flanked pink and won again.

This ref alan, he's a character. He always goes up next to kids with stingrays and asks if they wanna be on his team. Its funny. He also once forgot to put his mask down after everyone was ready, it was funny. he was like 5-4-3 and someone yelled "AY ref!" and then tapped on their mask and he was like...oh crap and pulled it down.

..... You probly don't want to hear that when I gave the pre-game talk (going over the rules), I ended with "And only the ref (that's me) gets to engage in hand to hand combat."
