My flatline is starting to chop paint really bad. I know it is the flatline because i took it off and my stock barrel wouldn't break a ball. Also, the first time i used it it worked so sweet i almost **** my pants but it has been all down hill from there. Please post any problems there might be that would help me solve this problem. thanks :pissed: :pissed: :pissed: :pissed: :pissed:

It is proabaly the paint you are using. the flatline is really picky about paint. You need a good small to medium bore paint like all-stars. I foyu are using cheap or too big of paint it will chop them like there is no tommorow.

hey,
did u install it yourselF? that could be the problem. take it to ur local pball shop and they'll fix it for ya. either it was installed incorrectly, ur using bad paint, or u have a screw loose which is causing it to be off ballance.

I have everything installed correctly,, trust me, i know how. So it must be the paint. Do you think i should get paint with a smoller bore?:|

First off don't take the barrel to some shop to have them install it. Wast of time and money. First look at the barrel adapter. (that probable isn't what its called) -- the part that connects the barrel to the chamber of the marker -- This is the problem with the Flatline. So the barrel works properly this thing has to be just perfect. I the case of my Flatline it didn't work worth a dame until I put a little extra twist on the adapter. At this point my barrel wasn't pointing straight, but a little toward the right. The paintballs would curve to the right. It wasn't much of a problem because it still patterned out pretty well. (Way better than the stock barrel, and I still got the distance) This has something to do with the way they produced the Flatline, and is why the Flatline is hated by some while others love it. Try to tighten down the adapter, because that is almost always the problem when it comes to the Flatline set up. Play around with it a little. I think every Flatline is a little different, I'm sure you can get it to work. Personally I went and got a Lapco Bigshot to back up the flatline, but I am not about to get ride of my Flatline.
