Well that's a new one... I got the PMR yesterday and went on the field to try it. Believe it or not, 3 balls out of 10 would get stuck in the barrel. It's the field balls, so I have no clue what type/kind it is.
I've read that there are some paintball sizes but in all honesty, I'm quite surprised that the stock barrel can't pass all types of paintballs. The guy at the proshop was trying to sell me a kit for $140 with 2 parts barrels where there are 3 different size, etc. Should I go for a different barrel or what is the story on this?
Thanks in advance

3 potential problems. #1, your bore is too small for the paint, causing the ball to get stuck. #2 your dwell is too low. If your first shot shoots, and then the rest get stuck if you shoot within 30 seconds, this is the problem. #3, your hpr isn't turned up high enough, and consequently, your velocity is too low to force the ball out the barrel.

$140 for a kit is a big ol hunk o chunk o load of cash for a barrel kit (sorry for exaggeration, i just like making rhymes.) but i wouldnt pay more than 120, even thats pushing it.

I've just read that the bore on the stock barrel is 0.690, which is actually bigger than any type of barrel I would usually buy. The speed is set to 250, that should be enough... I guess the next step will be to play with the dwell. Ill try that, thanks.

It's the Angel kit, the "WDP Autococker 16" Small Bore Paintball Barrel Kit". No clue if it worth it.

I'd try out a different brand of paint, even if you have to go out and buy a cheap box of 500 balls from Wal-Mart if the dwell is setup right. It's a chance the one's you used were either by some chance bigger than .693 or were old/crappy/swelled up golf ball sized paintballs.

Well I found out that by disabling the eye, I got rid of the problem. Barrel helped on precision a bit, but not as much as I was expecting. I will have to take my marker apart and try to clean the eyes or change them I guess.
Thanks for everyone's help!

Some update...
I did everything I could (new barrel, detents, new eyes, battery, etc) and since I did not manage to get anything working, I brought it back to the shop for the tech to test it.
Believe it or not, the marker is defective! I couldnt get what exactly wasn't working, my guess is either the bolt or the solenoid (since I changed pretty much everything else). I guess I should have bought a lotto ticket on that day, not a marker!
Anywho, Dye is sending over some other parts, I should get my marker by Tuesday. Hopeful, I'll finally be able to shoot at people with the marker I bought a month and a half ago...
