Polishing barrels.

how would i polish my barrel? i know this is probably posted somewhere else, but i cant seem to find it... i have Turtle Wax and i want to polish my stock m98 barrel before i go and polish my all american..

how do i do it? and what are the advantages/disadvantages of it?

Don't polish your all american. It already comes from the factory honed then polished to such an extent that anything you did would probably be detrimental to accuracy. Just get a nice pull through squeegee (the fuzzier the better) and some water and it's all you'll need to keep your mirror shine on your barrel.
