just start out by registering for some tournies in your area, then move up from there, and maybe if you do well you can pick up a few sponsers along the way, but as of the moment there's no official registration for paintball teams, unless your planning on playing in the nppl or something right away...

start hanging out at your local field and playing with the "regulars"! Find out who is good and who comes often, then start playing as a group and then start going to tournies!
Start playing with people you like and get along with, it makes for more fun!
