what is needed for the flatline barrel to get the distance that every one says it has.
like certain paintballs or what because i am looking to buy one but i dont have an air tank all i have is a 20 ounce co2. do i need something different or is it just the paintballs.:confused:

It's just the design of the barrel. Flatlines aren't regular straight barrels but are rather like an upwards ramp that puts spin onto the ball.

The flatline barrel is somewhat of a gimmick. While it can obtain that extra range, the balls are moving so slowly by the time they reach full range that they often don't break, and can be easily dodged.

not to mention the accuracy is so bad with them, and their incredibly paint picky. :D oh and the 98c version completely fails, if its not perfectly straight and mounted tightly then it wobbles and paint curves and once u break a ball your done for the day :)
