Not unless you use a barrel adapter.

No idea, there should be something but i have no idea where to find it. I'm not a fan of barrel adapters so i never pay much attention to them.

A barrel adapter costs about as much as a new barrel. Just invest in a new barrel, you will be much happier with it.

Like we said, don't get one. You're pretty much wasting money. Just get a nice a5 threaded barrel instead.

if you still insist on getting one, look on actionvillage. They sell them last time I checked.

well what barrel do you have that u want to fit on it? If its a decent quality barrel, Id suggest looking into the python compression kit. You can get it in any gun to any gun. I have 2 autococker to ion backs and a back that allows hammerhead tips to screw in. They are like 60 bucks or so for the whole kit, and they make them for any gun and i mean any gun :P. We had a guy at the field in 07 ask for a cocker to blazer and a phantom to blazer, and the guy had them.

search python paintball, i dunno the exact site.

i say screw it all and just buy a freak and buy a new back whenever u get a new gun that way u know u have a B.A. barrel system everytime

alright the ones i saw were about 11.95 so it may not be a bad ideaNo, it's still a bad idea. People don't use them b/c they create a choke point in the barrel that is significantly smaller bore than the barrel your shooting through.

This will potentially cause massive issues with larger bore, or brittle paint as balls will get broken as they pass through the adapter before they even get to the barrel.

Buy a quality 1-piece barrel and be done with it. You can probably go find a quality A-5/Carbine threaded barrel out there for $20 or so depending on how carefully you look. That would be worlds better than getting an adapter of almost any kind.

If you've got an A-5 there is a chance you could find a thread adapter that would completely change the threads of the marker. They're getting harder and harder to find nowadays though.

i used an adapter for one game. broke almost all of the paint before it left the barrel. threw it away after that game. i will never get one again

If you really don't want to buy an adapter, look into getting a US-5 thread drum. The US-5s are spyder threaded, and I believe that you can pull the A-5 thread drum out and replace it with the one from the US-5. That would give you spyder threads without using an adapter.

That's what I was getting at, only you made a bit more sense than I did. Thank you sir.

I only know one place to get them - and that's Boss Paintball Products. When I bought mine the US-5 seemed like a decent, lower priced alternative to the A-5 or 98C. Only problem is that product support is basically zilch, parts and upgrades just aren't that widely available.

alright so i am going to get one of these US-5 drum because i just bought a barrel for my spyder mr1 and in between the time it was being sent i used an a5 and just really loved the a5 a whole lot and i really did not want to just go ahead and completely buy a new barrel i figured i would get an adapter but now i am going to get one of these US-5s.
