I don't think it a very good idea to have a forum for real guns on here. just like one for cars etc. This site is to permote paintball. Not the use of fire arms. This is my feeling on the subject and does not reflect the feelings of the other mod's here

I don't have anything agaist people using or ownning firarms for sportmanship or hunting.

I tend to agree with Creek on this one. You're more than welcome to discuss such things in Off-topic... but the distance between paintball and firearms is a huge one, and I'd like the public to see it that way also.

good point, its just been discused alot in the forums and i thought it would be a good idea. plus we could mask the name of the new forum for something no one would ever go to like "brass eagle product development team" or something :) just a suggestion

i agree with creek and sid. while it is picking up (that thread) i think that the thread or maybe a sticky in the off topic forum is enough . . . there are alot of threads that get alot of interest, but that doesnt mean they deserve their own forum . . . my rap thread for example has like 7 pages of posts, but i dont see a rap forum . . .

Did anyone here go to the old delta-force2.com? It had ALOT of members and a forum for almost everything(ie. A book forum). And each forum was always pretty busy.

Anyways, I like the idea of a Firearms forum but definately not now on this site.
