Really depends on what kind of gun you want. Single tube spoolie = Droid, stacked tube poppet = RX. Size and ease of maintenance are about the only determining factors here. Size wise the Droid will be slightly smaller and maintenance the RX will win since it's a poppet. While shooting they both should feel about the same since Cyborgs are very very smooth guns and have about the same kick as a spoolie.

"Droid" only one 'O' in it.

I don't think I'd be willing to say that one is necessarily better than the other. They use two completely different modes of operation, the Borg being ram/poppet and the Droid being a spool valve. Both are arguably the top of the line in those two categories.

The Cyborg RX is the newer of the two by about a year, but both are excellent designs. The Droid will be smoother and somewhat less efficient on air just like most spool valve markers. The Borg will be a bit more 'poppy' when it shoots, but should have excellent efficiency. Both will be plenty fast for anyone's liking. In my mind the Borg would have an edge in the maintenance department as there's just not as much going on mechanically in a ram/poppet marker. Also the Borg is designed so that the entire bolt/ram/valve assembly can be removed and serviced in a matter of seconds.

When it comes down to it it's really a wash between the two. If you've got a shop nearby that carries MacDev it'd probably be best for you to try both and see which you prefer feel-wise. That's the only way you're really going to figure it out.

If it was me I'd just as soon save $500 on the Borg and pick up a Bob Long Vice. Nothing against MD or their product, which is excellent, but that's what I, PERSONALLY, would do. $500 could buy you a loader, an HPA tank, a barrel kit, or pretty much any combination of peripherals within reason, and probably a weekend at the field to use it all.

To the OP:

Either one is a great choice. I've had my Droid since September of 2008 and have been loving it ever since. I also have a 2006 Cyborg and I love that marker as well. If the RX shoots anything like my 06 Borg (I'd bet anything it shoots better) you will love it.

I've been using MD products since early 2006 and have never looked back.

My droid is the longest gun that Ive actually played with. If that means anything :P Got mine back in jan or feb of 08. Used it all 08 season, and I plan on using it all this season. Usually I use a gun for 1 event and get rid of it bc i dont like it, or it sits collecting dust.
