Volumizers
I posted this in the custom section but no-one replied so here goes. OK heres an idea...probably stupid. Why not take the volumizers and insert a piston with a sort of weak spring. When it fills with air it pushes the piston back and hold air, when you pull the trigger, as soon as the air starts to escape the volumizer (into the gun) the spring overcomes the pressure and forces the air out into the gun. It cycles air is returned into the volumizer. is that an idea? I'm thinking it would force the air to move faster through the soloniods, or atleast to the soloniods yet you still have all that volume?

Hell you could tune the thing, dial spring tenison from the outside? KAPP should make it, probably wont do jack but seems like something they would come up with (nothing against KAPP, they're stuff is great).

It already exists, it's the PMI Ram Air chamber, and it doesn't do jack :)

DAMN THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought of that on my own...stupid PMI.

Well I did say Kapp should make it cause it won't do jack.

hey the ram air does help. It gives your ball a better cushion of air and prevents breaks. I own a TS G3 and it has broke maybe one or 2 balls(the paint was 4 months old 2)

Ha, right. That's a lot of theoretical hype that's never been shown to actually do what it claims.

Breaks are generally caused by 3 things.
- bolt chops the paint
- paintballs too big, barrel too small type of match
- using brittle paint (i.e. Hellfire) in a high-pressure gun (i.e. automag)

Course, I wonder if set up right would it work better on an electro? Probably not, just thining there is so much area for the air, it must take a bit longer to move through the gun, this way atleast it closes out the extra area forcing the air to the soloinoid faster. Could possibly run a lower dwell then? Probably not though.

Glad you like the Kapp thing
