(this question pertains directly to the mini, i have experience in this and have found that different barrels work for different guns. please dont move this forum.)

over the summer i played alot with my new mini and now that i have money to spare since i have not played over the winter i was thinking of buying a new barrel. i love the stock barrel it is accurate and consistant. but i am looking for more. i play woodsball and have tried an 18in freak but i didnt like the length of the barrel. i have used freaks previously but that is the extent of my after market barrel experience. any suggestions on barrel length or barrel comparisons to other barrels that have been used??

If you liked the Freak except for the length, get a shorter tip for the Freak. For reference, the stock barrel is a 12in so if you like the stock length, get a 12in barrel.

The Mini takes 'Cocker threaded barrels. 'Cocker threads are almost certainly the most common thread, so it shouldn't be hard to find the barrel you want to fit your Mini.

There are some rare instances where a certain 'cocker threaded barrel didn't fit the Mini, but this was rare and only affected early Mini bodies.

I personally use a 12in Deadlywind Fibur barrel. It's a carbon fiber barrel that takes Freak inserts. It weighs a lot less than a normal Freak barrel.
