Any one thats been to this site long enough knows that i used to be completely and totaly infatuated with Freak Factory impulses. Well, like all addicitions, it never fully healed. I was looking at through some files on my old computer, and lo, and behold, i see a folder named "Cool coimp pics." And in there appeared about 10 of the differant colors of this wonder. And i just can't get them off my mind, and seeing them at the smart parts site just deepened the virus, like a splinter in my brain. Now i realize, i just have to have one! How long would it take to get me a blue fade (it's not really a fade, but it was blue, and it was cool) Freak factory, bottom reg setup (i don't like the looks of vert reg on these guns) and that voodoo full flow whatchamacallit, full freak, and vision? I got'sa have it, sorry, but no rat will do, i must have this one, kinda like an old crush you never got to kiss, ya know? Thanks, if you can get one.

I have to agree the Freak Factory, looks pretty plain jane compared to the Rat.

I'd have to side with Richy on this one.
The FFs with the blue splash and the gold/black finishes are truely beautiful sights to behold.
If i could find a nice pic of a Freak Factory in a wallet size photo, i would have to find another place to stick my girlfriend's prom picture.

If you guys played the game like men....
You'd realize that a guns performance outwieghs its looks by far. The Rat has more upgrades, shoots better, and is still cheaper.
Don't get me wrong, Rats look sweet in my opinion (much better than a ff), but comming from a strictly performance view, the rat comes out on top.
If you wanna spend extra cash on an annodize job and cut corners on the performance, be my guest. That anno wont look good in the deadbox, though.

Just FYI-- No fades at Smart Parts right now.
I will get some when the newly made FF are back from the Anodizer. As these will have the new body milling, there may be a couple of small changes in the specs. Unforutanly I don't know what-- except that they WILL NOT accept a VFF/AFF.
Most likly we will do them as LPR guns.

I have to be biased, I own a Freak Factory Impulse and I would take that over a Rat. I like something to be classy looking. That is what the Freak Factory is. The Rat is more of a Standout look.
FOM, I was up there yesterday and they were still out of them. They told me a month and a half ago that it would be 2-3 weeks when they would be in. What are they doing to the body that is new??? I know a few of the new things from just Bull****ting with the Techs. They are putting the Brass hammer in there. Also, have you had some bad vision boards lately??

smart Parts has changed the way they drill the body. The old "locating hole" where they drilled the transfer bassage is no longer ther (and thats was the VFF uses to route air to the Solnoid). They also changed the little hole on the side of the gun that everyone seems to take out and strip.
This was not a problem on FFs up until now. (they were still selling gun from the orginal batch) but on the new manufactor guns, the hole is no longer there-so no VFF/AFF.
We will most likely just do the guns up with LPRs.

do u think New Designz and VooDoo will still make the HFV and VFF? i hope they will cause i gotta have that 15* tilted ND HFV.

I am sure they will. They just came out with it and everyone likes them.
