I just ordered this mask I havent got it yet does anybody have it how good is it I got a thermel one without the fan(2 much $ with it)

I like it and I didnt get a flex7 because of the bottom flex it can bounce paint but it would hurt to have it hit your face

the whole purp of flex 7 is to bounce balls yes, but they dont break, that happened to me in a tourny, i sure got hurt, but i didnt get out and won money in that tourney, i have a flex 7 for sale used a little if anyone wants, it is spectra ized blue, awsome !

the bottom on the protius is the same material as the flex

The proteus is sweet...it also uses the same thermal lenses as the flex 7...so you will be fine ad you won't have to worry about fogging up.

JT USA has received verified reports of Proteus paintball masks (but not lenses) cracking or breaking in the area around the ear. This could cause a potential for injury to the paintball player, if the plastic attached to the goggle strap should break. No reports of injuries have been received.
