Hello everyone! I'm fairly new to paintball and have finally made a decision to buy my first marker. I'm looking at buying the marker, tank, hopper, and mask thats it really. I have about $300-$400 to spend on all. I was looking at the new proto slg or the smart parts epiphany. Im open to any new suggestions. Thanks for help in advance.

Proto SLG is the way to go. Best marker for the price. Buy the SLG, an HPA tank, a mask, a pack, and a nice fast loader.

Yeah SLG is pretty much the best gun new in it's price range. Might be worth taking a look in the used market too, there's older high-ends out there for in and around $200.

you should get your mask tank and hopper first then see how much money you have left for a gun.

actionvillage, has some nice HPA tank for around $50, the mask will put you out around that much. then pods... maybe they really dont make a difference if u dont shoot alot of paint. THEN look for a gun... as for hopper the EVO2- EVO3 work nice

Whatever you do, don't skimp on the mask. A good thermal mask should be your first purchase, if you can't see, you can't play!
