I have several firearms and was wondering if I could use the normal gun cleaning lubricants and cleaners on a paintball gun?

Is paintball lubricant the same as firearm lubricant?

It's not the best thing to use. Gun oil is petroleum based, whereas PB lube is synthetic. Petroleum products will make orings swell and it will degrade them. PB lube on the other hand is designed to be used with rubber orings and it won't hurt them.
You can get PB grease and oil at various places though. I usually but SlickHoney from my local bike shop. They stock it because it is used on bike shocks I think. Or you can get fully synthetic silicone from the hardware store. Just make sure whatever you get isn't petrol based.

As far as cleaning products im not sure. Becuase you dont need to use the same kind of stuff to clean a PB gun considering there isnt GUn Powder you need to clean out. But as far as regular Maintaince, regular Gun OIL will be find for o-rings.
Ive used Gun Oil for 3 years on all of my guns. Just a drop here and there works fine, no swelling or anything so im not entirely sure what your saying Banderson is 100% correct.
