If i had a vertical feeding gun like a Spyder Agressor, do i just put the hopper in it without a elbow? or do i need an adapther or somethin?

You should normally be able to pop it right in there, unless the sizing is screwy, in which case a bit of tape around the neck of the hopper will make it fit.

The Spyders series of vertical feed markers takes an adaptor which makes the hopper fit. I kinda like the vertical feed elbow, it makes the feed a high rise so it's harder to chop. You can buy an adaptor so you won't have to use the elbow, but that costs $30.

If the hopper is big, sand it down.

That comes with the marker. One came with mine. They are pretty sturdy so it shouldn't break unless you throw your gun on the ground in which case you shouldn't play paintball. The $30 one is a metal sleeve (chrome of black) that slips over the feed so you can just put a hopper in like a normal vertical feed. That is why it's so much more money.
