best custom impulse [Archive]

im in the market right now for a impulse and i need info on which custom one is the best. Please dont just say the name. Give info on why its better than the others. Thx:crazy: :confused:

Demonic becuz of the internals....but if i was buying an imp i woud get the bluegrass rat

Rat, because it comes with anything you want.

Don't like the I frame? Dont have buy it.

Really like the i frame? Well, theres one with it.

Want a vision? You got it

Dont want a vision? Okay

Dont like the voodoo bolt? No prob, which one would you like?

Cant stand the new designs trigger, no biggie. Which would you prefer?

Dont like the colors black and pewter? Which do you want, blue or silver?

Need a hopper to toss in there? Sure, want a 9 or a 12?

Need a nice airsystem to go along with it? No prob, you got 4 choices.

Its as close to a custom gun you can get, only its semi-mass produced. Build the gun you want, it'll be on your doorstep in a matter of days. Plus it only comes with worthwhile upgrades, the guys at Michigan Paintball tested each object and its competitors for a long time before deciding to use it or not.

Can you do that with those other choices? Nope. Especially for the price of a Rat.

Add all that up plus the customer service of walt and craig, how can you go wrong?

For a truly <i>custom</i> Impulse I would get the Demonic. It comes with Ti/Delrin internals, excessive milling (nice and light) and a bunch of really custom parts. Otherwise I would buy a Rat, because as said before, it comes exactly the way you want it.

The Demonic internals are not all that big. I bought them for my Impulse and they did not change a thing. The Rat has to be the most custom Impulse out right now. MIpaintball should be getting in the Crazy Chrome Eclipse Impulses soon (first one is mine) so that might be a good option for you. If I was to buy a custom Impulse right now, and the eclipse Impulses were not coming in, in the next week I would definatly get the Rat. Oh, and good luck trying to get anything from Roughneck, It took me several months to get my possesion kit, and I was supposed to get a trigger with it, which I still have not got.

sorry ir just slipped my mind, but if u have comments on it then go ahead and anyone feel free to post any impulse i didnt mention (i.e. eclipse, toxic, etc.)

Drewdini, have you tested the Demonics internals? I wanted to, but Tez never responds to me when I ask for them, seems he doesnt want Impulse educated people to have them, he does have a good feed neck though.

Deffinately go with the rat. There customer service is the best out there and they won't keep anything hidden from you like other companies.

Im almost positive there will be Blue and Grey Rats left, it will be close though, I think Walt ordered 20 of each, and we are taking all considerations for colors, if anyone wants a specific color, put a deposit down and that will motivate FOM and Walt to seriously check on it. The thing is alot of folks say they want this and that but never order it, so we get stuck with some crazy colors that never sell, thats the real hold up on crazy colors.

oh yeah if you check out the thread on pbnation.com that is the poll where you guys were asking what color you guys should make the next rat, check out my post on the sewer rat. I would rather have on of those over a spiderman one (not by much though) Im phatchenny over there too
