ok, so it breaks paint. not everytime, but every few mags ill have a paint break. i did some research and found that it seems that the tpx likes thicker paint. has anyone else had this problem? if so, have you found a good paint brand to use? i just send an email to tippmann. hopefully they can help me out here.

Just use a cheaper paint with a harder shell. Draxus Field and White Box works great.

The valve looks like a mechanical spool, so I'd imagine it's a blow-forward. Automag is the only other company I can think of that uses a mechanical spool, and they've had twenty years to perfect it. I would not be at all surprised if Tippmann comes out with a low force bolt kit similar to the AGD level ten idea.
For now, though, stick to tough paint. I suggest using the same certifications we use to test if paint is durable enough to go through a Flatline.

Please don't. It's been proven that being hit in the head with Monster can cause at least temporary vision loss. I can throw a bag of Monster on the ground and step on it, and I don't break a ball. And I'm over 230 lbs.

bad joke. my bad!
in all seriousness, slowly unscrew the regulator (smaller allen key inside the velocity adjuster) out until you hear air starting to leak out. then slowly screw back in until the air leak stops. adjusting the reg helped me out. give it a try.

You get bonus-balled at my field for bringing Monster. The way we see it, if you're trying to hurt us, we're gonna hurt you back.
