I'd say go with a Mini only if you are well-versed in marker setup and maintenance, as they can be a real pain if you don't know what you are doing.
Dangerous Power G3 is probably my favorite choice in this price range.
thats what my friend recommended but wasnt there a faulty part on the g3? but you would go g3 on the whole situation?

The faulty part was the regulator piston/seat. It wasn't faulty it was just very easily damaged by user error. It was still exactly that, user error. But DP still made a new part and it has corrected the issue. Like I said, if you are still new to paintball the G3 is going to be much more user friendly than the Mini. As far as raw performance goes, I think it's a toss-up between the two.

i love my mini i say go for it. i like the g3 i just chose the mini over it and i have never looked back. make sure you like the feel of the mini first before you get one. it is a very aquired feel. but i love mine i say go for it.
im not new to the sport its just havent put much into it since first year n i think its prolly time to call it quits with ion even thou it has after markert mostly in it its been givin me probs and i really cant go much higher than this range and alot of people seem to say g3/mini and im probably going to make a decision on something this week so performance its really either or? its just how i like the feel of it or does one have a bit of an advantage and is good right out of box for tourny use? ive held n shot the g3 it was pretty nice wont lie friend sold it thou after like only 4 months of having it so im woundering about it and ive held the mini when it first came out from what i recall i liked it but never shot or even put tank on

the mini is nice right out of the box you just got to make sure you like where to fore grip is because it is actually bolted to the trigger frame. the performance is about even out of the two. i love the fact there is no macroline and the stock trigger either you like it or you dont. they are just so similar in performance but i know a ton of people would say g3 over the mini but i love mine and i hope more people can like them as much as i like mine. the g3 has a better stock trigger better asa and is easier for matenence. the mini imo has a better feedneck barrel and upgrades. you can get an on off for the mini and a new trigger and it imo will be better than a g3. I have pretty much everything up'd on mine but the tadao or virtue board but it performs up to par with any other of the guns i have ever used. the feel is awkward at first but i got used to it instantly.
