Hey guys, I played paintball for the first time the other day and had a blast. I'm looking to play much more, and I have money laying around so buying a gun is something I want to do.
My budget in total is about $500, and right now I have nothing except old clothes to wear (i'm not looking to purchase a uniform or vest.)
I would rather use HPA because I have a compressor that I could fill it with (right? Thats possible?).
This is what i'm looking for in a gun:
Reliable
Accurate
Easy to clean or take apart should something go wrong
I am not concerned at all with the bps, I do not care how fast it shoots.

I'll be playing at some indoor speedball and scenario courses, as well outdoor woods courses.

Thank you in advanced for your suggestions!

Ah sorry I forgot about this part:
I would rather buy everything new.
I would like to get any mask as long as it is resistant to fogging

proto SLG
invert too hopper
Vforce mask
crossfire tank

that would be my speedball setup if that were my budget.

Lets see you can say about $150 for a nice tank (i recommend Crossfire as well or maybe a Ninja), $60 for an Invert Too, and around $30 to a $100 for a nice mask. That'll leave you about $200 for a gun, maybe more depending on the mask you get. Since you're going to be playing speedball i'd say get a an electric gun. You'll be able to tweek the board if you want to adjust your ROF to slow it down but if you find yourself needing a little more power you'll have it. However though if you want to rock a mech finding a used cocker or mag with upgrades shouldn't be to hard. ;) As for the electric guns i'd recommend, if you end up having about $200 the SLG would be nice. If though depending again what mask you get you might be able to spring for a G3 or a Mini.

Oh yeah you can't fill HPA tanks with just a common tool compressor. If you try you'll be able to up to around 100-200psi since that's about what most of those compressors put out.
