I just added some new mods to my 98c ACT, let me know what you think and what I should add. Thanks.

My setup:

Tippmann 98 custom ACT
J&J 14'' full tilt ceramic barrel
Extreme Rag db sound activated electronic hopper
Maddog Designz double trigger
20 oz. CO2 tank

I use this mainly for speedball, but she sees some woodsball action from time to time.

Barrel too long, no E-grip.

The 14" barrel is tolerable, although for my part I prefer a 12".

I'd consider a Uni-mount or similar on/off rail setup to replace the angled ASA that Tippmann includes on the marker. That'll allow you to improve your form a bit playing speedball. Then I'd ditch the 20 ounce tank and go to 16 ouncers to shorten it down a tad.

You might also consider a nice HPA tank, but if you're going to stick with your Tippmann long term there's not much need.

After that I'd probably leave it all alone. There's no need to spend big bucks on a Tippmann IMO, much better to spend that money on paint and field fees or as savings towards a newer, better marker.
