Before any upgrades, play a bit, find out what upgrades would fit your style of play.

A barrel is generally a good upgrade. Accuracy comes from a good paintball and a good paintball to barrel match to where the paintball can be easily blown out of the barrel but not roll out or get stuck.

A barrel kit is good but can be expensive. An inexpensive alternative to a barrel kit would be a Palmers Brass Barrel. If that's still too expensive a single bore barrel will work, but u will have to find a brand of paintball to specifically match that barrel.

Scopes are useless in paintball, when playing, you will easily learn to just point and shoot.

gotta agree with the other guy scopes are usless UNLESS u are going to snipe then a scope is good but expencive because u wouldent want a red dot.

as far as good upgrades it realy does depend on how u play are u a woodsball player or speedball player? do u run and gun or sneak around? do u shoot to "kill" (take ur time and aim not realy kill  ) or do u try and shoot fast so u know u hit him? do u like to dive behind stuff are u ruff with the gun or do u tend to act like it is your moms prized lamp?

These are questions u need to ask yourself and i will give u two examples y.

First say u like to pay woods ball and u dive behind things and tend to not care if ur gun hits a tree a bush what ever. I would suggest a remote so that u can put the co2 on your back so u dont mess the tank up.

Secound just say u like to shoot like 3 or 5 balls off real fast so u know u got him. i would suggest an egrip or responce trigger.

so on and so forth so if u answer some of these questions and explain how u like to play (after taking the other guys suggestion and playing a bit with the guns.) we may be able to be more help.

I have a red dot on my project salvo and it won a game for my team it was my first game to so they help a ton once you get them sighted in.

yes this may be true but 9 times out of 10 they are completely useless. i had one on my old tippy and i never once came within a foot of the dot from about 20 yards. i was shootin allstar and i had the hammerhead barrel which is one of the most accurate tippmann barrels they make. paint is overall the deciding factor for aiming though

Scopes and red dots are indeed an attractive option. I bought one for my A-5. I'm sad to say that I have not once used it in actual play. I've lined up potential shots, but I've never had opportunity where the sight has actually gained me an advantage.

On my pumpgun, though... that's another story.
